Alvarinho is an expression of the landscape, history and identity of a territory.
Between Monção and Melgaço, the landscape reveals a centuries-old relationship between wine, agriculture and local identity.
Through wine, gastronomy and landscape, we seek to understand how this relationship between territory and culture has given rise to one of Portugal’s most distinctive wine identities.

DAY UNFOLDING
● Introduction to the territory and the culture of Alvarinho
● Visits to two selected producers, with guided tastings
● Interpretive walk through the vineyard landscape and the historic centres of Monção and/or Melgaço
● Lunch featuring regional cuisine
● Discovery of the diversity of styles and interpretations of Alvarinho
