The Landscape as a Human Gesture
Sistelo is a landscape shaped over centuries by the relationship between the community, the land and water, where terraces, irrigation systems and agriculture reveal a collective way of inhabiting the territory.
We walk through the village and its surrounding landscape to observe, interpret and understand how nature, work and community remain inscribed in a singular cultural landscape.
