The Cultural Landscape

• Sistelo is a landscape shaped over generations through the relationship between community, agriculture and the mountains. Mais do que um lugar para visitar, convida a permanecer.
• Caminhos, socalcos, rios e aldeias revelam-se progressivamente, através da repetição, da atenção e do tempo.

Terraced Hillsides

• The terraced hillsides reveal a long relationship between human labour, water and the mountains, shaping one of Portugal's most remarkable cultural landscapes.
