Where the Landscape Unfolds in Time
A walk through nature, attentive to the wine-growing and cultural landscape of Alto Minho. Sistelo is explored on foot, accompanied by someone deeply familiar with its history, landscape and cultural singularities.
Classified as a National Monument and Cultural Landscape, the village “has the feeling of the ends of the earth, of a place outside time — a well-kept secret,” as described by the French television channel TF1.
The journey includes an encounter with a rustic and ancestral expression of Vinho Verde — traditionally produced for domestic use — a regional lunch at a local restaurant, and a visit to a leading wine project in the Lima Valley, offering a contemporary and refined interpretation of Vinho Verde wines.

BEFORE PARTICIPATING
● Walk along old rural paths, covering approximately 4 to 5 km
● Easy to moderate, punctuated by slightly more demanding stretches — paced calmly, allowing time to pause and observe
● Comfortable footwear suitable for uneven terrain is recommended
