Description of Experience

● This is an experience that combines hiking in the heart of nature with wine discovery.

● Come  walk and  discover the village of Sistelo, a National Monument and Cultural Landscape.

● That "has the air of the ends of the earth, of a place out of time. To arrive there is to enter another world, another continent, to discover a well-kept secret..." TF1, French television channel.

● Guided by those who know the history and cultural particularities of this unique village. Where, for decades after decapes, what we might call heroic subsistence farming has been practised. 

● At the end of the walk  we'll taste the more rustic and less polished version of Vinho Verde, produced by the farmers for their own consumption.

● Afterwards there will be a regional / traditional lunch in a restaurant.

● And the  discovery of Vasco Croft's passionate Aphros Wine project, which the famous Jonathan Nossiter, in his book Cultural Resistance, places on a shortlist alongside legendary figures such as Aubert de Villaine  (Romanée-Conti) and Stefano Bellotti.

● On the Casal do Paço estate, on the verge of abandonment at the beginning of the 21st century, Vasco Croft has been weaving an admirable, sustainable and ecological project that will bring us into contact with the most refined version of Vinho Verde.
