Quinta da Cheira is a project that is intertwined with Carlos Machado, its creator. It is located in Mazedo, Monção, just a few metres from the superb Brejoeira Palace. In the few hectares of vineyards he owns, Carlos Machado favours permanent involvement with the vines and the winemaking process. It's a total relationship.

It combines artisanal and scientific knowledge, with the added soul of family life. These characteristics make it possible to produce lively and complex wines from the Alvarinho grape variety that epitomise the expressiveness of the terroir and the passion of human labour.
