To disconnect from the overwhelming psychic rhythm that characterises life in contemporary urban societies in order to reconnect with the ancestral nomadic impulse. To the yearning for wandering, for movement with no other purpose than to advance one foot after the other, diluted in the magnetism of nature and the lightness of the air. Or in the whispers of history and the echoes of the archaic and the ancient rural. Strange sensations, primitive reminiscences, unsurpassable pleasures.
We Want Green invites us to momentarily renounce social networks and the torrential furore of news and events, the uninterrupted background noise that marks our daily lives.
It's not an escape from the world and its turmoil, it's a necessary and urgent withdrawal, so that other dimensions of the sensitive, the relational, the social and the spiritual can shine through. It's contemplative silence, immersion in nature, in the forgotten details of history, in the calm savouring of a meal, in the flow of conversations without spasms of emotion. It's slowness against the grain in a time of impatience and acceleration.
During our experiences, the mobile phone should only be used to take photographs. From time to time, never out of a manic urge to record everything and observe nothing. No-one is forced to accept this rule, of course. However, not respecting it is not realising what you are doing there. That's our position, that's what we believe in.
