The mountain as a lived landscape: between paths, villages, fields and vineyards.
Around Porta do Mezio and Soajo, we walk through a landscape where nature, agriculture and ways of inhabiting the land come together.
The landscape bears the marks of a long-standing relationship between communities and the land, with the vine emerging as one of its expressions.
Throughout the day, we move from landscape to table, from village to vineyard, exploring how culture takes shape in a mountain territory.

QUICK OVERVIEW
🌿 DURATION: Approximately 7-8 hours
🍃CONTEXT: Mountain landscape between the Mezio Gateway, Soajo and Grade
🌿 FOCUS: Nature, lived landscape, agriculture, vineyards and local culture
🍃TYPE OF EXPERIENCE: Nature, cultural and contemplative, centred on walking and reading the landscape
🌿 GROUP SIZE: From 2 participants (small groups)

DAY UNFOLDING
● Walk through the landscape around the Mezio Gateway, observing terrain, vegetation, water and traces of human settlement
● Exploring the relationship between nature, agriculture and traditional ways of living in the mountains
● Lunch in Soajo or picnic, depending on the programme and season
● Visit to the village centre and exploration of the relationship between houses, fields, paths and community
● Drive towards Grade, following the changing landscape
● Visit to the vineyards of Muros de Grade, with tasting and interpretation of the relationship between vines, terrain and landscape
