Green — Cycle and Time

We don’t start with time. We start with green. Not as a colour, nor as a discourse on sustainability, but as a way of understanding the territory.

Green is growth, but also waiting. It is renewal, but never immediate. It carries within it cycles that cannot be accelerated — seasons, transformations, processes unfolding in their own time.

It is within this natural cadence that the territory takes shape. And it is from it that the experience finds its meaning..

To want green is, in a way, to accept this. To accept that things take time. That landscapes are not built, but shaped slowly. That places are not consumed, but inhabited. That meaning does not appear instantly, but emerges through attention and repetition.

That's when the journey begins to change. Not the destination, but the pace.

To travel with time is not to slow down artificially, but to align with what already exists — with the tempo of a place, with the cadence of a landscape, with the continuity of human presence within it.

In that sense, green already contains time. And travel, when it follows, becomes something else. Not a sequence of visits, but a way of inhabiting the world.
