Description of Experience

● This is an experience that combines hiking in the heart of nature with wine discovery.

● Come for a walk and discover the village of Sistelo, a National Monument and Cultural Landscape.

● Guided by those who know the history and cultural particularities of this unique village. Where, for decades after decapes, what we might call heroic subsistence farming has been practised. 

● At the end of the walk  we'll taste the more rustic and less polished version of Vinho Verde, produced by the farmers for their own consumption.
● Afterwards there will be a regional / traditional lunch in a restaurant.

●  Afterwards, we'll drive through the lush countryside of the largely wine-growing municipality of Monção. We'll pass through Merufe, Tangil and other parishes to get a summary of the Vinhos Verdes region.

● To end the day at a representative winery of Monção, with a visit and tasting of the most refined version of vinho verde,  Alvarinho variety.
