COACHING AND IMMERSION IN NATURE

Is there anything more appropriate than immersing ourselves in nature to disconnect from the incessant background noise and acceleration that characterises contemporary urbanised and hyperconnected societies?
Philosopher Samantha Rose Hill, in a recent interview with the newspaper Expresso, says something as simple as it's vital and urgent: "In order to think, we have to stop. Only in this way do we return to a state where it is possible to have an internal dialogue in which the moral principles that determine actions emerge". This alone would be more than enough reason for what we are proposing here, but there is much more.

On a professional level, for example, there is always something negative throbbing inside us: worries of all kinds, anxiety, vagueness, stress, tension... These factors combined with each other or with other unlisted factors can lead us slowly or quickly to the edge of a psycho-emotional abyss. There is also excitement and positive emotions, of course. So the important thing is to know how to balance the two poles, so that the first doesn't overly jeopardise the second to the point of infecting your entire life. And once we've reached this extreme, what life are we talking about?

That's why it's essential, from time to time, to hit the brakes and stop. Get away from your usual routines and places of life and work. Immerse yourself in the silence and magnetism of nature. To be able to get out of yourself and let go of your thoughts and emotions and let them flow free in the lightness of the air.
At the very least, set aside a whole day for this. But the ideal would be three days in a row. Or a week. Or even a month. It's up to you and your possibilities and needs.

1 DAY
Come with us and start the day with a slow walk in a remote setting of exceptional natural richness. Let your senses wander and dilute yourself in the silence of the landscape. Soon you'll have forgotten yourself and the world, you'll be "just a stream of immemorial life" (Frédéric Gros / Walking, A Philosophy). And at the end of the morning you'll sit in the shade of a tree or on a cliff savouring a sandwich while you rest and gaze at the horizon. Tempting, no?

In the afternoon, indulge in another part of the programme, a coaching session led by someone who knows the subject. It lasts around three hours and uses techniques ranging from Socratic questioning to neurolinguistic programming. And more.
But let's say you want to replace these experiences with others. How about a wine workshop in the Alvarinho region focused on sensations and harmonisations? Or the delights of a session on a Thermal Spa? Or some moments of adventure in nature, which could be Rafting, Kayaking, Canyoning or Stand Up Paddle? Or a peaceful, relaxing bike ride by the river? As you can see, there are plenty of options.

3 DAYS, A WEEK OR MORE
And to do this for three days in a row, moulding the experiences to your liking? And why not go further? A week. A month. Alone or with a small group, to explore socialising disconnected from the digital world and social networks. And you can combine this with remote working, as long as you adhere to strict discipline so as not to let it overflow the boundaries of your time. A luxury, no?
