Armored house and identity
Solar de Serrade is a typically high-Minoan armoured house, where the symbols of identity and belonging - arms and coats of arms - affirm a lineage and an ancient relationship with the territory.
Imposing and balanced, it is distinguished by the two towers that flank the main body, giving it a striking presence in the landscape.

Gardens, chapel and vineyard
The house is accompanied by a romantic garden and a chapel, forming the centre of an agricultural property with a vineyard.
Here, architecture, land and agricultural production form a coherent whole, expressing a way of inhabiting and caring for the territory over time.

Restoration, hospitality and sense of place
Located in Mazedo, just a few kilometres from the town of Monção, Solar de Serrade was abandoned for some time and even fell into disrepair. Its restoration has given it dignity and life, making it a regional reference in residential tourism.
The interior preserves a rich collection of furniture, crockery and tapestries, reinforcing the historic character of the house and the experience of those who visit it.
Solar de Serrade Alvarinho is born from the estate's vineyards, extending the identity and memory of the place in the wine.
Solar de Serrade is thus a place where memory is transformed into hospitality and where the territory continues to be lived. A place to be discovered — naturally, and unhurriedly.
