Located just a few kilometres from the lush town of Arcos de Valdevez,  Quinta Ecológica da Peneda (Peneda Ecofarm) is dedicated to organic farming. At the same time, it offers B&B accommodation and organises activities to discover nature, culture and gastronomy in the north of Portugal and Galicia.

The accommodation on offer consists of 6 rooms with appealing and inspiring names: River, Sun, Earth, Mountain, Sky and Forest. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, perfect  for those who like nature and interacting with their hosts.
As far as the agricultural component is concerned, everything is done based on the principles of agroecology and permaculture. Chestnuts, a variety of fruit, vegetables, mushrooms and aromatic herbs are grown on the 8 hectares available.

Ingredients that serve as a substrate for many of the meals they prepare for guests and beyond, in both Regional and Vegetarian / Vegan flavours. The menus are varied and can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner.
On top of this, there's a cookery class, which consists of preparing a traditional meal that is firmly rooted in Minho culture. And consequent savouring around the table, of course.
In short, there's no shortage of arguments for a good time there.
