In Monção, vines are more than a crop. They are part of the landscape, the economy and the ways of life that have evolved over time.
Between Monção and Sistelo, Vinho Verde reveals different relationships between vines, work and the communities that have shaped this territory.
From the Minho valley to the lands of the Vale do Mouro, vines have adapted in different ways to the landscape and to agriculture, leaving distinct traces on places and their communities.
Here, wine tells more than a story of grape varieties or production. It tells a story of transformation: from an agricultural landscape where vines had to find their place among fields and food crops, to landscapes where wine now plays a central role.
From Alvarinho to other viticultural traditions, from valley to mountain, between Monção and the lands bordering Sistelo, different expressions of the same relationship between people, landscape and time can be read.

● Group meeting and introduction to the rural landscape of Monção
● Journey through different agricultural and viticultural landscapes — reading the vines, fields and ways in which the land has been shaped and inhabited
● Discovering different expressions of wine culture in Monção, from Alvarinho to the viticultural traditions of the Vale do Mouro
● Journey towards Sistelo, following the transition between Monção and the mountain landscape
